Session Enquiry
The training is a live Q&A session, delivered via Zoom or in-person and lasting between 1 -3 hours depending on requirements.
Format
This training is delivered as a discussion. There are no slides, or long lectures, it’s about having an engaging conversation. This is facilitated by the provision of a ‘menu’ of concepts to prompt curiosity and questions, where people will choose what they want to learn more about – it’s a Q&A session delivered in a way that encourages interest and engagement.
Why learn about ADHD in business?
For employers, managers, supervisors, and other workplace leaders, this training will show how make the most out of your ADHD staff by recognising and leveraging their strengths, while supporting their areas of most challenge – and help to avoid unconscious bias and unintended discrimination against them.
For non-ADHD employees, this training will help them to better understand their ADHD colleagues in order to improve working relationships, communication, and team productivity, through heightened awareness of how and why people with ADHD may think and behave differently to themselves.
For ADHD employees, this training will help them to understand themselves better – why they think differently, and how they can utilise those differences to the benefit of themselves and the companies they work for.
Embrace & support with Spiky Profiles
Everyone has their strengths and weaknesses but neurodivergent people, like those with ADHD, may go a little more extreme at both ends of the scale.
Learn how to manage ADHDers
Avoid miscommunication and misinterpretation, while developing an understanding of how people with ADHD approach and think about tasks.
Unleash creativity and innovation
People with ADHD are able to use out-of-the-box thinking to come up with new and unique ways to overcome problems and achieve results.
Set the right working environment
If ADHD people get on a roll with something they’re interested in, they can hyperfocus and do huge amounts of high quality in short spaces of time.
